  • Binding: 100% polyester superfine.
  • Packaging: In plastic pockets with a QR Code printed giving all the specifications of the mask.

Changing the D15 filter

Viewing the mask from the inside, you can see the mesh sleeve for the D15 Filter
(1) Insert the D15 filter with the narrow side pointing down and the seam (2) pointing away towards the outside of the mask. This is the inside view of the mask
Viewing the mask from the outside, insert the D15 filter into the mesh sleeve as indicated with the arrow (3). The seam on the D15 Filter should face you as you are looking at the mask from the outside

Effective Hand Washing: Instructions

Wet hands with water.
Right palm over left dorsum with interlaced fingers, and vice versa.
Rotational rubbing of left thumb clasped in right palm, and vice versa.
Dry thoroughly with a single use towel.
Apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces.
Palm to palm with fingers interlaced.
Rotational rubbing, backwards and forwards with clasped fingers of right hand in left palm, and vice versa
Use towel to turn off faucet.
Rub hands palm to palm.
Backs of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked.
Rinse hands with water.
Now your hands are safe.

Mask Cleaning: 1st Method; Washing Instructions

Wash hands according to guidelines
Make sure it is fully covered with water for 5 minutes
Remove mask from your face carefully – do not touch the mask, but remove by the straps only
Wash your hands using hand-washing protocols for COVID-19

Place complete unit in a bowl & pour hot water over it >60C.
Don’t squeeze or hand wash the filter. The delicate structure may be damaged. Leave both filter & mask to air-dry. Once both components are dry, re-insert filter.

Mask Cleaning: 2nd Method; Microwave

Wash hands according to guidelines
Place complete unit on a plate and place plate in microwave. Microwave for 60 seconds at 80 Watts
Remove mask from your face carefully – do not touch the mask, but remove by the straps only
Wash your hands using hand-washing protocols for COVID-19

Important

Ensure you have washed your hands FIRST. Always handle the mask by the straps. Filter slides into the mesh pocket with the narrow part facing downward. The filter’s seam must face away from the face once inserted. When the filter has been inserted, start the first sterilisation, as per above cleaning methods. To Wear: Place mask on your face with the filter part covering your mouth, and cover your nose & chin. Once in place, tie the straps at the back of your head. Important: Once a filter has been sterilised 5 times, discard.#ed1a3b
